Key responsibilities as a Generator Engineer:
- Workshop-based, servicing and repairing generators ranging from 10KVA to 100KVA
- Conduct testing, inspections, and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately
- Assist with fit-out works for modular buildings, which may include basic plumbing, carpentry, and electrical tasks
- Maintain a high standard of Health and Safety at all times

As a Generator Engineer you will:
- Have a solid understanding of mechanics, hydraulics, and electrical systems related to generators or heavy plant machinery
- Hold an NVQ Level 3 in a mechanical or electrical qualification (or equivalent)
- Hold a full UK driving licence (no more than 3 points)
Previous roles you may have worked in include:
Generator Engineer, Engineer, Mechanic, Diesel Engineer, Diesel Mechanic, Generator Fitter, Field Service Engineer, Power Generation Engineer, Service Fitter, Service Engineer, or Service Technician.
It’s beneficial if you’ve worked on generators such as FG Wilson, SDMO, Stephill, Cummins, Generac, CAT, Atlas Copco, Briggs, Perkins, or Himoinsa.
