The Role for the Business Development Manager

  • To build the company brand across the whole of the UK.
  • Sell the benefits of an excellent range of modular buildings with the support of a dealer who is committed to customer care.
  • As the business development manager you will capitalise on market opportunities while steering market expansion.
  • Making and taking sales meetings to introduce your product as well as building a customer portfolio and managing these on-going relationships.
  • Arrange presentations, proposals, and negotiations.
  • Travel overseas a few times a year for sales meetings and / or exhibitions. 
  • Senior communication and interpersonal skills to maintain strong consultative relationships
  • For this Business Development Manager role, you will need to hold a Full UK driving licence.

The successful Business Development Manager should have knowledge of selling into the following sectors: Power plants, Nuclear / Power stations, refineries, oil & gas, quarries, petrochemical, energy, offshore or affiliated. You may have also previously sold modular buildings, portable accommodation, portable cabins, portakabins, accommodation hire, cabin hire, blast proof cabins, portable offices, site accommodation, welfare units, or similar. 

Previous experience as a business development manager, area sales manager, account manager, sales manager, regional sales manager, sales representative, area sales executive, territory sales manager, BDM, major account manager, national account manager, key account manager, national sales manager or similar is essential for this position.
